Chopta, often called the “Mini Switzerland of India,” is a serene hill station nestled in Uttarakhand. Reach Rishikesh in the morning and begin your scenic journey towards Chopta.
On the way, stop by the Dhara Devi Temple and Devprayag, where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers meet to form the holy Ganga. Spend some peaceful time soaking in the spiritual and natural beauty.
Later, arrive at Chopta, freshen up, and take a leisurely walk amidst nature to enjoy the calm surroundings.
As evening sets in, return to your campsite for a warm bonfire session under the starry skies.
Dinner will be served, followed by an overnight stay at Chopta.
Wake up early and enjoy the beautiful sunrise views over the mountains.
Have breakfast at the campsite.
Begin the Tungnath–Chandrashila Trek, home to the highest Shiva temple in the world.
Trek approximately 5 km to reach the Tungnath Temple, surrounded by snow-capped peaks.
Continue to Chandrashila Summit for panoramic views of Himalayan peaks like Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Chaukhamba.
Descend back to the campsite by evening.
Enjoy a delicious dinner and relax for the night.
Wake up early in the morning.
Have a scrumptious breakfast and begin your trek towards Deoria Tal from Sari Village.
Marvel at the stunning lake, surrounded by lush greenery and snow-capped mountains.
Trek back to Sari Village after enjoying the views.
Depart from Sari Village in the evening.
Reach Delhi the next morning, concluding the trip with a pocket full of memories.
