About Chopta Tungnath

Chopta is a hillstation is known as “Mini Switzerland of India” which is in Uttarakhand. It hosts the magnificant Tungnath Temple Shive Mandir, famously known as the highest Stamp of Shive temple in the world, stood in an altitude of 3680 m, along with magnificand Chandrashila Peak trek. Chopta stands at 2680m of altitude and is adored by nature, trekkers and wildlife lovers. The place features the Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary and offers views of the Himalayan, Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Chaukhamba summits.

Tour Plan

Day 00 DEPARTURE FROM DELHI

• Meet our representative at the boarding point.

• Board an evening AC tempo traveller / Bus from Delhi /
Chandigarh.
• There you will be introduced to your fellow travellers
• Trip Captain will help with sitting arrangements and your luggage
• After the arrangements are done, the traveller/bus will depart.

Day 01 DHARA DEVI TEMPLE AND DEVPRAYAG SIGHTSEEING

• Reach Rishikesh in the morning, and on the way to Chopta, we'll visit Dhara Devi Temple and Devprayag for sightseeing and spend some time there.
• Later, we'll reach Chopta; after some time, we'll go for a walk to
Enjoy nature.
• Later, we'll come back to the campsite and enjoy the Bonfire session.

• Dinner will be served.
• Overnight stay.

Day 02 TUNGNATH & CHANDRASHILA

• Wake up early in the morning & soak your eyes with the beautiful sunrise views peeping from the mountains.
• After having breakfast, head towards the Tungnath Chandrashila trek, which is the highest Shiva Temple in the world.
• After a mild trek of 5 km, reach the Tungnath temple located on the snowy mountains.
• Start the journey to the most astonishing Chandrashila peak with panoramic views of the mountain peaks.
• Come back to the campsite by evening.
• Grab a scrumptious dinner and retire for the night.

Day 03 DEORIA TAL TREK AND DEPARTURE

• Wake up early in the morning.
• Grab a scrumptious breakfast and begin your trek towards Deoria Tal from Sari Village.
• Get astonished at the beautiful lake, which is engulfed by lush greens & snow-covered mountains in the backdrop.

• Later, start trekking back and reach Sari village.

• Departure from Sari village in the evening.
• Reach Delhi the next day early morning and end the trip with a pocket full of memories.
