Kedarnath Itinerary

Day 1 : DELHI TO HARIDWAR
  • Our consultant will meet you when you arrive in Delhi, and we’ll drive together to
    Haridwar from there
Day 2 : HARIDWAR - GUPTKASHI
  • We will arrive in Haridwar by 4 am and then go to Guptkashi, which is 47 kilometres from
the sacred site of Kedarnath. Due to the presence of well-known historic temples like
Vishwanath Temple and Ardhnarishwar Temple, the town is of great religious significance.
After dinner, spend the night at the camp or motel.
DAY 3 : GUPTKASHI – SONPRAYAG - KEDARNATH
  • Check out of the hotel early, leave your belongings at reception, and then drive to the
transport parking at Sonprayag. To travel the 02 kilometres to Gaurikund, you must hire a
local car or jeep. Once you arrive at Gaurikund, you may begin your walk toward
Kedarnath (19 km one way). For those who choose to rent a pony or palki at their own
expense, an approximate cost for a pony is recommended for the return trip. Poni costs
Rs. 2500, Palki costs Rs. 10,000, and those travelling by helicopter, which costs around
Rs. 9,000, will be dropped off at the Guptkashi/Phata/Sirsi Helipad. When you arrive in
Kedarnath, check into the hotel or camp, which offers modest lodging and few amenities
because of the area’s high elevation. Having attended Sandhya Aarti & Darshan in the
evening. Note: Visitors staying in Kedarnath must reserve their helicopter, pony, or palki
with an overnight stay at the booking desk in advance
DAY 4 : KEDARNATH -GUPTKASHI
  • To better coordinate with a driver who will be waiting for you at Sonprayag, Phata, or Sirsi
at the appropriate time, check out of the hotel or camp and begin your walk early in the
morning. We will travel overnight to Delhi before leaving Sonprayag. You’ll be in Delhi by 8
am or 9 am the next morning.
DAY 5 : GUPTKASHI TO DELHI
  • Morning after breakfast we will proceed our journey to Delhi via rishikesh. End of the trip
    with happy memories.

Kedarkantha Trek Overview

About the Kedarkantha Trek:

The Kedarnath Temple has helped the town of Kedarnath, which is located in the Rudraprayag region of Uttarakhand, India, become more well-known. The
district’s administrative centre at Rudraprayag is roughly 86 kilometres distant. It is a Nagar panchayat which is situated in the Rudraprayag district.
Of the four Chota Char Dham pilgrimage locations, Kedarnath is the one that is most remote. At 3,583 metres (11,755 feet) above sea level, it is situated in
the Himalayas close to the Chorabari Glacier, which serves as the Mandakini River’s source. The town is surrounded by snow-capped mountains,
Kedarnath Mountain being the most noteworthy. The closest road head is 16 kilometres distant from Gaurikund.

Kedarnath Highlights:

Kedarnath has been a destination for pilgrims from the beginning of time. The shrine is attributed to the Pandava brothers, who feature in the Mahabharata.
In Uttarakhand, close to the source of the Mandakini River, Kedarnath is situated at a height of 3,583 metres (11,755 feet) above sea level. It is situated
223 kilometres from Rishikesh. The municipality is located on a barren area of ground along the beaches of the Mandakini River. Due to the surrounding
Himalayan scenery and lush meadows, it is a particularly alluring location for hiking and pilgrimage. From the village and the Kedarnath Temple, one can
view the stunning Kedarnath mountain at 6,940 metres (22,769 feet), the Kedar Dome at 6,831 metres (22,411 feet), and other peaks of the range. In
addition to the Kedarnath Temple, the Bhairavnath Temple is situated on the eastern edge of the city, and Bhairavnath, the god of this temple, is reputed to
guard the city throughout the winter.
